The G-Series range from Makita is a different lithium-ion platform to the Makita LXT range of professional cordless power tools, and is powered exclusively by the G-Series battery and DC18WA charger (not included).
Produced to a quality far exceeding that of DIY products, the G-Series range offers a comprehensive catalogue of tools and an attractive market price.
The G-Series battery is identifiable by the white or grey top section, and offers a 1.3 amp hour battery capacity in both 14.4V and 18V platforms. A 60 minute charge time is achieved with the G-Series DC18WA charger.
*G-Series batteries are not compatible with the Makita LXT range of cordless tools or chargers.*
The HP457DZ cordless Combi Drill/Driver is powered by 18V G-Series battery (not included), with variable speed control by trigger to allow the user to match the speed to the application, to deliver up to 21,000 ipm, 1,400 rpm and 42 Nm of maximum torque for a wide range of applications. The HP457DZ is not compatible with 18V LXT battery or charger.
The HP457DZ has 2 mechanical gears. High speed mode for speedy drilling in light duty applications and low speed mode for heavy duty applications requiring high torque. All metal gear construction to ensure high transmission durability. 16 torque settings plus drill mode for added fastening control.
The Combi Drill/Driver is equipped with a single sleeve keyless chuck to allow for quick and easy bit instalations and removals with one hand, conveniently located push button reverse switch and a rubberised soft grip for increased user control and comfort in use.
